talktonormies ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy — arguably more than most websites, because we deliberately keep almost nothing. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the service, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the service, you agree to the terms below.

1. Information We Process

Chat messages

• What you type is sent to our AI infrastructure provider (Anthropic) to generate a response, along with the recent messages of your current conversation.
• We do not operate a database. Your conversations are not stored on our servers, are not linked to an account (there are no accounts), and cannot be retrieved after your session.
• Our AI provider processes message content under its own commercial data policies; we do not permit it to use our traffic to train models beyond what its standard API terms provide.

Information collected automatically

• Usage-limit cookie: a single signed cookie recording how many messages you have sent today. It contains a date and a number — no personal information — and expires daily.
• IP address: processed transiently in server memory to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse. Not written to a database.
• Hosting logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) may generate standard request logs and aggregate analytics (pages visited, browser type, approximate region) under its own privacy policy.

2. How We Use Information

• To generate the AI responses you request.
• To enforce daily usage limits and protect the service from abuse.
• To understand aggregate usage and improve the service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with:

• Service providers that operate the product — currently our AI provider (Anthropic) for generating responses and our hosting provider (Vercel) for serving the site.
• Advertising partners, if and when ads appear on the site. Ad partners may set their own cookies subject to their own policies; we will identify ad content as such.
• Legal authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.

4. Your Rights and Choices

• Clearing your browser cookies removes the only identifier we set.
• Because we keep no database of conversations or users, there is generally nothing for us to produce, correct, or delete in response to a data request — but you may contact us to confirm.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

5. Sensitive Topics

The nature of this service means you may type things you consider private. Don't include names, addresses, health details, or other sensitive personal information about yourself or others — the service works fine without them, and the best protection for data is not sending it.

6. Data Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Usage-limit cookies are cryptographically signed. No method of transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will address it.

8. Third-Party Links

The site may link to third-party websites, including advertisers. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information with them.

9. Changes to This Policy
